International Congress of Coaching Psychology - South Africa - 26-27 May 2011

The Southern Hemisphere Event of the 1st International Congress of Coaching Psychology (ICCP) 2010-11 will be held at the CSIR in Pretoria, South Africa on 26-27th May 2011.

The congress has a key aim of bringing the global coaching psychology community together over the two years.  The strategic partners will promote and hold the congress in their own region.  Currently eight coaching psychology groups from around the globe are collaborating.

The Southern Hemisphere Event will be a two-day conference, held at the CSIR in Pretoria, South Africa.  Each day will involve a mix of research papers, 90 minute skill sessions, keynote addresses, half day master classes, and invited speaker sessions.

International speakers include:

  • Peter Zarris, Convenor, Australian Psychology Society Interest Group in Coaching Psychology (AUS)
  • Reinhard Stelter, Accredited coaching psychologist Society for Coaching Psychology, and Professor University of Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Sam Farmer, Director, Enhance Facilitation Limited Co-Founder and First Chair, Coaching Psychology Special Interest Group (NZ)
  • Stephen Palmer, Coaching Psychology Unit, City University London, (UK)
  • Linda Page, Adler School of Professional Studies in Toronto, Canada, co-author of Coaching with the Brain in mind: Foundations for practice
