Our favourite free PC synchronization tool, Dropbox, has just been upgraded with a promise of improved performance and reliability.  Dropbox allows users to seamlessly synchronize files across multiple PCs, Macs and mobile devices, with a back-up of all shared files kept in the cloud. 

The new version reduces the amount of memory used by up to 50% and introduces some new features, including the ability to selectively synchronize files on different machines, ensuring that personal folders don't pop up on your work PC for example, and preserving space on devices such as netbooks with limited storage.
